Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
In the spirit of solidarity, I think I'm going to go eat some Taylor Ham (Pork Roll, technically). On bread, not by itself.
Well, that might be pig overkill, you see.
I had a really good corned beef sandwich for lunch yesterday (just the right amount of meat on an onion roll, with spicy brown mustard spread over it--yumm!), and today had a decent chicken salad with melted provolone cheese on toasted wheat bread (met some friends at Potbelly's, a local sub chain that's much better than Subway or Quizno's).
Dinner will most likely be spaghetti or maybe a Healthy Choice frozen meal.
I had lunch at Potbelly's, too! I have no idea what dinner will be. I might pick up something at the Taste of Randolph Street if I end up staying long enough.
Yuck.
Sigh. You don't even know how good! But okay. Let's see, umm... an enchilada?
Actually, what you really want is my world-famous tortillas and beans (of disputed origin). Alas, you're all the way down there, and I'm all the way up here. I'm sorry, Lee.
You should come visit, Emily. We could have dinner, and play I never, and stuff.
ita, great letter. When K had her crap run-in with urgent care after the motorcycle accident, we wrote a letter. We ended it with something like, "I would hope that the supervisory physician discuss this concern with the doctor so that others not be subjected to subpar care."
But I'm pissy like that.
I just sniped at ANOTHER resident surgeon and hung up on a social worker. I hate Children's Hospital with the fire of a 1000000000 burning suns.
Kat, can I come visit Graciegirl on Sunday?
Sure! As a warning I HATE the new place.
I like them too, Emily. Lots. But when I was a kid, I thought "Dad, there's sauerkraut and thousand on your sandwich," and never got my courage up to eat one. now we have three things in common.
