Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Response bias! Oh, this is interesting.

Yeah. I thought it was also kind of relevant to some of the fanarchive discussions about a potential rating system.

Very true. It's much like how I need to know who is recommending a story before I click on a link. And I'm also thinking about how I rate things on Netflix.

Thrive to spite them

I somehow got sucked into watching most of S2 Work Out.

Rebecca started flirting really hard with Jackie after Jackie broke up with her girlfriend. So Rebecca and Jackie started dating, which really upset some of the other trainers. But at the same time Jackie was also dating another woman. At one point a bunch of them were at dinner and Jackie and Rebecca were all over each other and Jackie's other GF shows up and then Jackie pays attention to her and not Rebecca. Although some of it may have been editing.

I got mad at her with the way she treated the Sky Lab clients (Sky Lab is her new thing I don't understand the whole concept) they had committed to training program that was a couple months long (I think) and Jackie got mad about something and weighed all of the clients in the middle of this to track her trainers progress. She called them all up and put them on the scale and based their progress on what the scale said and didn't take any other kind of measurements to see if they were losing inches or body fat. Some of the clients were really upset so their trainers had to go back and assure them just because the scale said they hadn't lost weight or even gained a couple pounds didn't mean they were failing at getting in shape.

Ooh--there's a big Darwin exhibit at the Field Museum running for the rest of the year!! It was in NYC in 2005 and will be heading to Boston, Toronto, and London next. I should head over there this summer--it's been a long time since I've done any museum viewing.

Well, if we're talking during our lifetime, I've already been many, many times. Don't forget, I grew up in Ann Arbor.

But I want to see this Darwin exhibit, dang it!

Ooh! I've been meaning to go to the Field Museum anyway. I'll plan my trip:

1. Wake up.
2. Put on outside clothes.
3. Get on Red Line going south.
4. Walk to Field Museum.
