And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Well, dang. That was easy as hell to do!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I took an involuntary (as in I didn't mean to) three hour nap! At least my motivation didn't lag any, as I didn't have any to start with....

The evil is this way?

Of course. The person who
* after being told he had a drug-resistent strain of TB and should put off his wedding, flew to Europe; and

* after being told in Italy that the strain was dangerous and he should not fly flew into Canada on a commercial aircraft with other unaware passengers and then crossed the boarder into the US in order to avoid detection

-- that person -- LAWYER.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Narrator, you forgot that the guy's FiL works for the CDC. In TB research!

And buy "guy" I mean, self-entitled fuckwit.

The evil is this way?

Yes, that too. Stoopid idiot.
FiL has to be little worried. ("What? No way did my future SiL get exposed to a strain of TB from my work!!! Lovely boy. I wanted him to marry my soon to be lawyer daughter and raise little litigators!!")

I just got home. I am eating dinner.

So, prom-girl's (N) really unreliable mother had promised to give her a ride. She didn't show. Since I was over to see prom-girl off anyway, I became her chariot. Thank god it was at the Ravens stadium (even though roads are all kinds of fucked up and badly marked down there!)

But anyway. I'm pissed (but not surprised) at her mom. N moved back in with g-grandma (my neighbor) just before xmas-2 days before her birthday. ANd she GRADUATES Sunday! Aiiieee.

Anyway, she was lovely, in a floor length red-satin moviestar dress, complete with plunging front and bare back (man, we didn't wear dresses like that at prom!) But she is gorgeous and carries it off.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The 12 year old in me must note that besides Mr. Dong, one of the other two left has the last name Wang.

One of the most common surnames in northern China. It means 'king', naturally. Oh, and queen is 'nĂ¼-wang'.

Or that a lot is two separate words.

Oh sweet zombie Jesus yes. This drives me bat-froody.

hip deep in pie

after being told in Italy that the strain was dangerous and he should not fly flew into Canada on a commercial aircraft with other unaware passengers and then crossed the boarder into the US in order to avoid detection

I heard the reason he flew into Canada was because he knew was on a no-fly list for the US.

Thrive to spite them

Yep and then a border guard ignored a warning to stop him because the lawyer "looked healthy".

That border guard is on desk duty now.
