That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I just ordered my ticket for next week, so I'll be there!

Yay!!!!!

Will you be around tonight?

Yes, call me! I've gotten approximately 5-6 hours of sleep in the past 2 days, so I'm planning on going to be early (for me, 10 is early).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I hope you can get him in soon, Hec.

3:15 today. Phew. I hope it's simple and easy to fix.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think there is some trouble with the mailing lists after the upgrade.

I was just going to post that as a theory. I just sent one test email to the list that disappeared into the aether....

Normally, if someone sends an email to the list and the list thinks they're not on the list, the sender gets nothing back and I get an administrative email....

edit for clarity....

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm starting to worry about him.

I'm sorry he's in pain. Try not to be afraid though -- boy bits are pretty hearty for something so delicate.

A friend of mine once slipped on a rope bridge and was injured complete with the direct hit and the twisting and the glayvin. He was univerally purple for some time. And he had to endure the embarassment/erectional fear of daily exams from our really REALLY pretty camp nurse. He recovered fully.

This is... kinda' funny:

Laura Mallory wants to ban the Harry Potter books from public schools, and she took her case to court. This is a perfect example of a mixed message:

At Tuesday's hearing, Mallory argued in part that witchcraft is a religion practiced by some people and, therefore, the books should be banned because reading them in school violates the constitutional separation of church and state.

"I have a dream that God will be welcomed back in our schools again," Mallory said. "I think we need him."

Everyone will be relieved to know that she lost.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hey lawnmowers are scary. One tried to eat my toes.

One threw a blade across the street and through a wall of my Aunt Mabel's house. It imbedded itself in an interior door frame.

Actually his boy bits already got checked out and his "testicular reflex" was pronounced robust.

So it seems to be something else and we just don't know what it is.

3:15 today. Phew.

Good.

I hope it's simple and easy to fix.

Me, too. I'm voting for hearty bits as Trudy described.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Damn, Matt. There was no potential for decapitation in my situation but I do have some permanent damage.
