Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I intend to have a nap for lunch.

I'd better get cooking.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I intend to have a nap for lunch.

I'd better get cooking.

You should marinate first....

No need. Already quite tender.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Marketing wins: My 3 year old just walked up to me after watching a Pop Tart commercial and said, "Mommy, I want some Pop Tarts, please."

I surrender.

Man I wished there were a longer shot, including the hem.

Here's the head-to-toe shot.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Just recalled something funny I wanted to share: my mother discovered edamame for the first time the other day. Asked me if I'd ever had it, raves about it. "Uh, yeah. You know it's soybeans, right?" She starts laughing. See, my uncle, her little brother, is a soybean farmer. For at least the last 30 years. And I doubt they've ever served edamame.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'll be finishing my sister's wedding present tonight! Another hour or two of cross-stitching, and the three-month project will be complete, or will be after I get it dry-cleaned and framed.

My cat will be happy--ever since I started working on it, she seems to be much more interested in leaping on me and demanding petting while I've got the project in front of my face. Thing is, since I'm concentrating on the piece, I have no clue she's in leap mode until she lands on me and announces her presence with a hearty "Meow!"

Last night, she jumped on top of the TV for the first time. She'd been planning this move for a while, which is why I moved the breakables there to an untouchable shelf. She looked so pleased with herself when she finally was able to sit on the cable box, but was definitely nervous when it came time to dismount.
