I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It is also at Amazon and looks intriguing but I'm wary of the sight unseen purchase.

It's very British, fairly typical mystery stuff. ASH is in the first episode. The real attraction is Alan Davies as Jonathan Creek, if you like your guys British, slightly pasty, and smart.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Beej, I've watched it a few times on BBC America and liked it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd recommend against buying it sight unseen, Beej. Principle thing.

I liked it well enough, but didn't love it.

Has anyone seen a Brit show called Jonathon Creek? It is also at Amazon and looks intriguing but I'm wary of the sight unseen purchase.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

ita, I don't know if you want to include this at your picture site, but this pic of Patrick Dempsey in a dress cracked me the hell up: [link]

Thrive to spite them

I think Netflix only has the first season of Jonathan Creek. I really liked it and was disappointed I couldn't get more of it without buying it.

Juliana, that'll DEFINITELY go up. Man I wished there were a longer shot, including the hem.

I love that he looks irritable, but not at the dress.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
