Um, no - they didn't talk too much about that until AFTER the race because they figured that Curlin is a freak and that it was his to lose.
So, they talked alot about Curlin and about Hard Spun and about the jockey change in which Garrett Gomez went to Hard Spun so John Velazquez got the ride on Rags to Riches. . . and uh, a little bit about Slew's Tizzy. But that's it. Not much "battle of the sexes" stuff. (Still after she won the commentator called her "Street Sense"!)
Oh, and on the ESPN coverage when talking about that barn that they seclude the horses in prior to the race - twice they compared Rags to Riches to Paris Hilton.
Please - -Rags to Riches has more class than Paris Hilton could ever imagine.
Noah and Grace slayed me. I think some of those Noah pursed-lips pictures need to be icons. Everyone looks so pretty in their new duds, too.
Are there fireworks somewhere along the lakeshore or at Wrigley? I keep hearing distant explosive sounds.
If it's thunder it sounds really weird.
Okay, this week's Doctor Who is freaking my shit out. This might stay with me as badly as the gas mask kids from two seasons or so ago.
