Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Holy crap, we're putting in an offer. Meep.

Go brenda! that's so exciting.

Has anyone read The Mermaid Chair?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, brenda! Good luck. One of the places you mentioned here?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think I did read The Mermaid Chair -- who's it by?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Kat,

I haven't read The Mermaid Chair, but I saw the movie on Lifetime. Does that help?

Oh, it's Sue Monk Kidd, right? I think I didn't finish it, but I read a big chunk while waiting for a reading/signing thing to start because I bought it for my mother. It made me @@, IIRC.

yep. I started it yesterday because I was bookless and now I'm mad at myself for reading it but can't stop.

A different one. See if you can access this [link] or this [link] (The MLS links are so wonky, I swear.)

The pictures aren't very good anyway, but it's a nice little apartment with two smallish bedrooms, a large yard/patio right off the back, kitchen that is about to be but hasn't yet been redone so I might get to do some of the choosing on finishes and stuff, nice original hardwood floors. Very light, crown molding (moulding?) and stuff all over.

Fingers crossed that they'll take what I'm offering.

Good luck!

Vacuumed, mopped. Made a halfhearted attempt at restoring order. Enh.

OK, Target and groceries. Then dinner. Which considering I skipped lunch....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Good luck, Brenda!

Awesome Noah pix. He's a very expressive dude.
