Woo hoo for potential houses!!

I love looking around houses! I've gone to several new-condo open houses in my neighborhood--they're great because you get to see all of them! Or at least, a representative of all the types in the building. Of course, the PRICES aren't fun, they're just depressing.
I want my hair to be more...something. I'm contemplating cutting it all off, as it is displeasing me lately. OTOH, I think I'd look stupid with short hair. I always do. I want it to magically be shiny and straight and bouncy and about bra-strap length. Except when I don't want it to be any of those things.
The looking at the houses is the best part! (especially if you like nosing around other people's houses like me.)
I never really looked at houses before I bought mine (I found mine through friends of friends and I knew it was The One) so I missed out on the experience for myself. And I can't imagine moving in the anywhere near future. So I like the vicarious house hunting. Especially looking at what's available in other parts of the country.
I am totally in love with my hair cut. I finally found someone who gave me my perfect inverted bob. Loves. My teeth on the other hand... FUCK 'EM.
Yeah! The movers just left and it looks like everything came through okay.
Unfortunately, they tore a branch off the neighbor's tree just as she was pulling up to the house. They were about ten feet from the curb, so it must have really been sticking out, but still, she was not happy.

Woo hoo!
It sort of stinks that I really won't have time to unpack before leaving for NY tomorrow morning, but at least it's here.

Yay for having your stuff!!! How's it going out there??

Yeah, that's what everybody said at the Chicago F2F when you had short hair. "That meara sure is stupid-looking in that red dress." @@
Many scientists think there is a strong possibility we'll discover life on another planet within the next ten years, thanks to more sophisticated space-based observations.
In 2015, the European Space Agency will launch a mission called Darwin, a cluster of four orbiting telescopes that will scour the heavens for life-bearing planets. For five years, the telescopes will peer at 500 stars and conduct spectral analyses of the 50 most promising planets it detects.
"You can be pretty sure that if there's life out there, we've a good chance of being able to say so," said Glenn White, head of astrophysics at the Open University and a scientist on the Darwin project.
Yay!
