Now tagless for your comfort.

Gud, good luck with the orthodonture. I hope you guys found a good pediatric dentist. Some are better with kids than others.

ita, good luck with the appointment. I hope you can get some relief.

I bought Mars Needs Moms today and oof. It made me cry.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I hope the neurologist visit goes well, ita!

I really like my dentist, but I don't have a dental phobia as much as a fear of the damn anesthesia needle. Also, it takes forever for the anesthesia to work on me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Kathy, it was totally fascinating. I had no idea.

ION, I just watched Pirate Master on the CBS site. OMG, that show is fucking brilliant. This may just rival Drunk Asshole Hotel for deliciously train-wrecky summer fare.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a horrible dentist when I was a kid and then went through one summer in my teens when I had basically all my (many, many) fillings drilled out and redone.

Yeah, I had a similar experience, leading to at least one root canal and many many fillings my senior year in high school. Ugh!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I had to have 4 root canals when I was 15. I take care of my teeth, they're just soft. Stupid genetics. I still need some work done to take care of the fallout from the accident, but I got really sick of medical procedures for a while. I should take care of that.

Yeah, I've had two teeth break for no apparent reason, but so have both of my parents. Not much I can do about that!

Stupid teeth.

Heh. One of my teeth broke (just a little piece, thankfully--not so bad I needed any hard-core dentistry), and when I complained to the dentist, he was all "Well, that happens as we get older" and I was like "I'M TWENTY SEVEN!" Which in my book, is the perfect age (it's a cube!) and not old at all. (I am no longer 27. But I'm tempted to just claim to be. Forever. Better than 29. Which is what I am for two more months).

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh. I had to take my MiL to the doctor on the way to daycare this morning, so I left the house with the kids at 7:30 and have been driving pretty much ever since. I got to daycare at 9ish and back into my car to come home at about 9:30. Got home and ate breakfast at 10. yeeff. How do people handle long commutes in the morning? I'd go postal.

I went from no cavities as a child to...well, bad teeth. Break on a soft bagel bad. Coincided with the hormones finally regulating. Anyway, I'm gonna be paying for that nasty little trick of nature.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I had eight teeth pulled when I was about 7 and had various retainers and things that were supposed to make my teeth come in straight. Not so much. I ended up with several years more of orthodonture when I was in high school. What I remember about having those teeth pulled is that the tooth fairy shorted me. I did not get eight times the usual rate. The tooth fairy apparently believed this was a wholesale deal. Now, parents, aren't you shuddering about what your children will remember about you in 40 years?
