Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

What is even happening?

Well, it looks like I'm caving.
Wait, no, I am caving, even if one considers my position not one that was mine to take. My ride to the ER should be here in half an hour or so.

Recovery and health to you, ita.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope the ER visit resulted in a pain free deep sleep night for ita. The doctor visit TODAY needs to yield a better plan.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

shrift, that sounds like an awsome dining experience. I've had some good meals out in my day, but nothing remotely that special (I think the only place that might compare in Boston is L'Espalier, which I've never been to).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I've figured out how to get to work before 9.... Just go to bed at 9:30! Ridiculous, but true. Every night this week, I've had the lights off around 10, and woken up at 6:30, as opposed to resisting the alarm at 7. I think I find this to be Not Worth It, in the larger scheme of things.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I know the conversation has moved on, but I'm surprised that BosWash didn't come up in the discussion of portmanteau cities.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Yay, dcp! It's not surprising, though. Your nature photography is wonderful. I always love the bird pictures.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Speaking of dcp's photo, a co-worker just popped by with a copy of the AALL (American Association of Law Librarians) magazine, with a photo she had taken a few months ago in it! There was a fawn curled up under the tree just outside our window here at work back in March, and Karen snapped a picture of it and her boss passed it onto the AALL people at a convention a few weeks ago, and it ended up in the newest issue.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, guys. I feel clear this morning. I'm not going to make any sudden moves, or anything, though.
