Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I adore this dress, also: [link]

does separates mean no dresses, just two pieces? And what time of day is the wedding?

Hmm. They could get a dress, too, huh? Wedding is at 1:30, Reception at 5:00.

I made the wedding binder today and booked the hall and the church. FEAR ME! Joe says I should start my own company and call it "Empress Events: Weddings, parties, fund-raisers, and showers. Coronations extra."

Mostly lurking...

oh, that's gorgeous, Aimee.

Also, my SIL and a friend just started an event planning business. It's totally doable.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The other direction we're thinking about going is David's seperates and telling the girls, "Choose whatever, just choose Apple."

I've seen that look gorgeous. And the bridesmaids were all very happy.

What vw said, Aimee. Plus, up there you'll have the nifty little cache of having lived in LA.

Punishingly Intricate

Oh, and it seems I'll be getting my hair cut by Ben from Shear Genius next Saturday.

ooh! Can't wait to hear about it! How'd you hook that up?

Aimée, your sister's dress is beeeyootiful!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Aimee, you sister's dress is gorgeous!

How'd you hook that up?

Ben's shop is actually in NW Indiana (where my girlfriend, M, lives). M interviewed Ben for the paper when the show first started and he was having some licensing issues for his shop. IN has weird laws. He needed to find someone with an IN license to work in his shop for 6 months before he could apply for one. The guy who has done mine and M's hair for years is licensed in IL and IN and knows Ben from way back. So, my guy (who has a small clientele and works out of homes) is working out of Ben's shop right now to help him out with licensing.

I contacted my guy for a cut, but he's jetted off to London for a month. M did a follow-up interview with Ben this morning and told him about me and he agreed to cut me while my normal guy is out of the country. And his GF is going to do my color.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

'Cause my day wasn't stressy enough - just got an email from the owners of the place I've been housesitting the last few months. They're coming home a month early. So instead of having 5+ weeks to start moving stuff back (planning, a few things this day, a big pile that weekend), I have 11 days. Granted, no furniture, but still - STUFF. And of the two weekends before they come back - I have tentative plans for most of the day this Saturday, I'll be in Hollywood most of the day next Saturday (btw, any LAistas want to have an early dinner at the Best Thai Place EVAR?), and my Mom wants me to come to her choir performance and potluck reception next Sunday.

What a PITA.

Continued ~ma, ChiKat!

Can't see the wedding dress from work. Pout. (I have no wisdom on the Bridesmaid dresses, so I defer to other, wiser 'ffistas).

And now I run away again. Gotta finish those docs I put on my report as being done in May!

he agreed to cut me

Who else went to a Boxing place? Or a West Side Story place?

Just me?

Sounds very cool, ChiKat!

This time I really mean it. Going away.

You're sister's wedding dress is gorgeous, Aimee.
