Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

I have no idea on the routes or anything like that.

I get whatever cabin is left over, so probably an inside stateroom.

I've never even seen the ship, so I have no idea what I'm up against. Disney is flying me out to Cape Canaveral in a little more than 10 days to do a site visit while the ship is in port for a day, so I'll know some more then.

Art Crawl!!!

Congrats on the Disney cruise gig, ND.

I love the Reese's PB & Banana cups but didn't realize that they were collectable - I did realize the Elvis collection. I find mine at the local Walgreen's. I prefer the regular sized ones to the miniatures.

Collectible candy? Who collects chocolates? I think someone else mentioned Walgreen's, too. I need to get over there. My usual pharmacy is CVS.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Beverly, I always enjoy reading your birthday and anniversary wishes.

I had a very fun evening out, and came home to find they've I guess given an official diagnosis (not very different from what my mom already suspected and I concurred) - Bacterial Spondylodiscitis. On the plus side, the patient reports mom has linked all report excellent outcomes. It's mostly found in the lumbar/sacral region, and is pretty rare in the cervical region. I suspect he'll need another surgery to fix the damaged bones, but I am not sure how France does it.

I hope now that they have a diagnosis, your dad is feeling better soon, d.

ND, that sounds like a great gig. Good luck with it.

I mentioned to someone the last week that I have become a normal sleeper. I obviously jinxed myself, because I haven't been able to fall aseep at the usual time all week.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm glad the prognosis sounds good for your dad, d.

I've lost my favorite flip flops. It's not a huge tragedy but they were nice and comfy. I just hope I didn't leave them at the gym.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Back from Emmett's game in Alameda. I was supposed to meet Suzi for coffee while his team was practicing before the game, but something must have gotten all muddled because I never found her, and my stupid phone won't let me save numbers anymore so I couldn't call her. I am feeling quite oafish.

However, Emmett's team slaughtered the opposition. 13-0 at the bottom of the fourth and we all went home.

Yay, Emmett!
