Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Can you create a new Facebook persona just for family?

Nope.

But it certainly would be a good way of conveying the information re: sexual orientation and indeed tattoo without having to, you know, have a conversation about it. Or without having to broach the topic, at least - upon reflection I think that it would be an awful lot easier to be all 'Yep, that's right' rather than being all 'So, there is Something I Need To Tell You.'

Hmm.

Maybe this is a good thing?

(And yet still I find myself wincing.)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

You might want to say, if you accept the invite, "O-kay but there may be some surprises."

I really shouldn't have an opinion on outing. My Mom did all the work for me in about 30 seconds.

"So, would you say you're bisexual?" umm. yeah.

"Have you ever slept with a woman?" uh. mmm hmm.

"Was it [my best friend]?" ::headkitchentable::

Trust my rage

Congrats, Corwood! What a great story! Hope mom and baby are resting and recovering.

move out and draw fire

Corwood, congratulations! That's not a bad way to enter the world at all.

Fay, yeesh. Right there with you on the angsty about different spheres intersecting. I tried to be all smart and have one blog that was OK for anyone I knew to read (WP), and one just for friends I trust (LJ) or complete strangers, but of course my family found my LJ.

I doubt your mom will freak about the tattoo though - it's so beautiful and unusual, and suits you so well. The other, well, I got nothing

EEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

(Sorry - I just finished eating cereal and set the bowl next to the computer, and just saw movement and a cricket was crawling around in the bowl and I'm going to go freak the fuck out now)

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

{{Kristin and Kristin's Mom}} It is so hard being away from family when things like that happen.

Fay, I don't know much about how faceboo works, but could you set up custom friends filters on some of those entries so that your mom can't see them?

Our wings are not tired

Gronk. It is too early to already be on the Hertz shuttle to the airport.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Kristin, glad she's in good hands, sorry you can't be there though because it's frightening I would imagine. Still, hopefully a break isn't so bad, even if it's a bad break.

Congratulations Corwood!

I have no opinions on outing or facebook, as I have neither.

Oh, and Billytea and Wallybee's plans sound really cool! I like places with history.

Thrive to spite them

Kristin, glad your mom's break wasn't too bad.

YAY Emmett!

I pass my comic book shop on my way to work every day and this morning I saw a police car pulling up on the sidewalk, I did a double take and there was glass on the ground and the front door had been busted open!

I called my friend R who works there and let him know, he hadn't heard and was going to call the owner.

WTF is it with crappy airports. There is an alarm siren going off in my section of the terminal. It has been going for at least an hour now. Gate agents have started taping things over the speakers to at least muffle it a bit. Um, shouldn't actually fixing this be a priority?
