Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

You know, you're really not helping this reputation thing, babe.

I assumed he was hiring me for you!

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Happy Anniversary, Kristin & ND.

But that doesn't answer the fundamental question of: When did Kristin become a zombie?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The other is through Portland, where I definitely plan to stop on the way back
Excellent!

Hey! We called dibs!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

You're coming to visit?? (Heh.)

actually, yes. Seeing as how I haven't heard from the law school that I applied to for a faculty position, I'm going to assume that I'm stuck here for a while more, and therefore will have to travel. SF/LA is one of the trips I have to make.

Now tagless for your comfort.

BiL is going to be ok. He's resting (but in a lot of pain). The chest tube appears to be working well. Not sure when they're going to take it out but MiL says he may get to come home late tomorrow night or Friday, if nothing else pops up.

He'll be out of commission for 6 weeks, which means summer job is a wash.

Thanks for all the ~ma.

Joe, I hope they are nice, smart people and hire you.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You know, you're really not helping this reputation thing, babe.

Now now, he's spent years cultivating that reputation.

Our wings are not tired

I had to spread a lot of fertilizer.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, such a relief, Cashmere.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Happy anniversary, you guys! All teasing aside, you're shippable!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Cash, that's good news.

I had to spread a lot of fertilizer.

So, you're saying you had to spend a lot of money to get the reputation, you didn't get it on merit?
