Gronk. A guy I tutor called me at 7:30 this morning to set up an appointment for this evening. And then I fell back asleep and slept through my alarm until 11.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
You do yourself an injustice, milady.
aww, thanks. Both for the eloquent words, and picking up on my shameless fishing for a compliment
Right there with ya, Hil--turned off the alarm, woke up at 10:45. Doh. Should do something today. Yep. Should. Should.
Also, Seattleistas: Help!
The problem with looking for jobs in other cities is most pharma companies are in the burbs. And in DC, I know that Bethesda is a cool, close burb, Rockville is OK, but Germantown is Too Far Out, and Frederick is No Way In Hell Am I Driving There.
How far from anything cool is Bothell? How difficult would it be to live somewhere fun and drive there every day?
I just tried some Marmite on toast. Spread it thinly like the label said. Blech. Tasted like a mouthful of salt. I'm guessing this is one of those love it or hate it things. (I had the Marmite because my seitan recipe uses it as a flavoring, and I figured I might as well try it the way it's supposed to be eaten.)
Marmite = blech. Should be on the list of tastes.

Meara; Bothell is well at the northern extremes of the Seattle area. However, it's not a hard drive, especially since you'd be going in the opposite direction to a lot of the commute.
Bothell itself is not somewhere you'd want to live, but our neighbourhood (Northgate/Greenwood) is only about 20 minutes drive from Bothell, and 15 to 20 minutes to downtown. Not that I'm hinting, of course.
Ultimately, I suspect you'd actually want to live on or near Capitol Hill, but that would significantly increase the commute to Bothell to about 40 minutes. Or fucking eternity if the traffic really goes sour.
I'm trying chili-lime seasoning on my mangos. So far it's pretty yummy, and it's fulfilling the savory craving I had this morning for much less calories than the breakfast taco would have. I'm going to vote Tajin=yum.
Hmm. OK. I mean, my current commute is about 45 minutes in traffic, maybe 30 if it's the middle of the night. But my old commute was also 45 minutes normally (longer in bad traffic) and was twice as many miles (much more highway, thus the greater opportunity for bad traffic). Sounds do-able.
Sounds practically easy compared to what you're used to. Yeah we have crappy traffic but we are a smaller city than what you're used to, I guess.
Now I get to mention the possibility of you moving here to Cass & Jilli. There will probably be squeeing.
