My doc apparently had emergency surgery
What is in the air? My dentist canceled on me because he had "emergency eye surgery". WTF? I mean, yes please, I'd like you to be able to see before bringing a drill near my mouth...and I'm glad he is ok, but WTF?
No script, AmyLiz--she just gave me three weeks' worth of samples and I was supposed to have a follow up with her tomorrow.
Ah. That sucks. Although I bet you could ask in the office if they had another week's worth of samples. It's in your chart, and they know the situation with the doctor being out.

Wow. I can't even imagine what warrants "emergency" eye surgery aside from some nasty injury to the eye, which... shudder.

It's weird. I felt bad for my doctor. The first thing I asked was, "is she going to be ok?" and the woman didn't answer right away. So I said, louder, "She'll be ok, right?" And then she assured me she would. I didn't want to pry and ask too personal a question because she's not my friend or anything but I was sort of worried about her. I like my doctor a lot--it's why I'm willing to put up with some of the bullshit at that practice. If she's going to be out for a very long time, I don't know if I want to deal with the office for another doctor.
Gmail is down for me, and it's making me very cranky.

So, I'm at work. Woke with another raging headache. I am so tired of these - I know they are stress/tension. Other than a killing spree, I'm not sure how to MAKE IT STOP.

Holy crap! I just realized that -- I was thinking AAR was another site. They can be brutal, indeed (I got a C for Murder in the Hamptons, which actually made me really, if not happy, relieved). A B+ is fabulous!
