Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Mears is, I think, my cousin's favorite. Kahne, however, needs to call me.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

He's a darling, all right. And a damn good driver.

Okay, how did it get to be 1 a.m.? This is how I end up keeping vampire hours...

So, I've been attempting to do some organizing for days. But, today the cleaners come (yes. I've given in and hired cleaners), so I dumped everything not previously organized into boxes to go through later.

checks to see the total count of those kind of boxes

There are at least 10 of those boxes in my office and storage room. I suck at this grownup thing.

Actually, this strikes me as typically grown-up. I certainly never had boxes of papers and other assorted crapola waiting for organization when I was a kid, but almost every adult I know has a few (and as the years pass, a few more and a few more...). If you suck, we all suck together.

Heh. I did. They're in the basement at my parents'. I started that trick probably when I was 8 or 10. That's kinda funny.

Fastest (and, in my opinion, best) method for organization of boxes of papers:

Matches.

Possibly flamethrower.

If I haven't looked at in six or seven...hours...I figure I don't need it no more.

MM - how's it going?

They go...slowly. I've sent out approximately seventy gajillion resumes and cover letters and whatnot. I have had tres interviews.

I'm sore. The past two days I've been finishing the painting of my mom's house. She evidently got it about half primered a year ago and it's been that way since. I got to finish the primer and then apply the top coat. But, hey, $200 is Two Hundred Bucks.

Other than that it's been okay, I guess.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My GP's office just called to cancel my appointment tomorrow. My doc apparently had emergency surgery and will be out for awhile. I asked if she was going to be ok and they said yes but they are looking for another doctor to cover her patients. I only have one more week's worth of AD's and I hope they can get me in before those are gone.

Hey, MM!
