Jayne: We was just about to spring into action, Captain. Complicated escape and rescue op. Wash: I was going to watch. It was very exciting.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Anne, keep us posted about your step-dad. I know how hard the waiting can be.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Notes from Insomnia:

I have been sucked into the black hole of insomnia: the BRQG. Not only are we very pretty; we are also very funny. Here are a few that made me giggle:

1. Aimee: She's potty training. It's slow going, but we don't mind because we don't want to push it and put her off of it completely. Yesterday, Joe was in there, attending to business, but he didn't shut the door completely. Em barged in there, watched him pee, and then proclaimed, "GOOD GIRL, DADDY!"
2. RobertH: Funny sidebar: I got the title pretty close from memory just now. I wanted to check if "plrtz grlb" was right, so I typed it into Google. What did it tell me? "Did you mean: plrtz glrb." God bless the Internet.
3. billytea: I've found that I've become more mellow about not arguing with bonehead opinions. I call it my 'history will vindicate me' stance. (Chosen because it sounds more magnanimous than the 'it's like talking to styrofoam' stance.)
4. Robin: I don't like people who ascribe human feelings to their pets. And neither do my cats. My dog thinks it's fine.

Meanwhile, my cats are both taunting me. Their body language is clearly saying, "We just slept 18 hours and can still fall asleep in ten seconds right now. Neener!"

I'm so tired that I'm not tired anymore. The world is a little fuzzy around the edges. And yet, I keep hitting refresh. If the cats decide to get up, I know I'm in trouble.

One more and then I'm going to try to fall asleep. Again. This one was just too appropriate to pass up, though.

NoiseDesign: My brain is so deep into sleep deprivation mode that I can see all these pretty colors that I didn't know existed in nature.
Oh wait, I think that might just be the hawaiian shirt I'm wearing.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's been less than half a day, and already I misses my Empress ever so much.

I misses my Anne so very much.

How was your veggie hummus sammich? Mine was very yum!!

It was a fantastic weekend. I saw Wicked and was so close, that when Elphaba flew, I could tell what religion she is.

Poor Kristin with the not sleeping!

I hear poppies put you to sleep. IJS.

Weekend catch-up…

Toto needs to come rub my back. I've been on my butt working on my computer for so many hours this week that everything aches. Ugh.

Poor Laura! I think you’d actually *not* want Toto to rub your back, though. It’s kind of painful with his nails! Funny for others, but painful for the receiver.

vw, that's a very cute video. I want a Toto.

Awww…thanks! He is pretty damn cute.

Lilty came by, and I missed her. I’m sad now.

Zenkitty! I love the hair! Gorgeous!

{{{askye}}}

Anne, I’m glad you made it home safely, but so sorry it was to more bad news. I know you needed that break this weekend. I’m just sorry that it couldn’t have held on a little longer. Much love and many thoughts and prayers.

She had a fantastic time and that means a lot to me. So...thanks.

Well, it was completely selfish on our parts, I think.

We're very pretty.

Yes, you are! My goodness. I almost can’t stand the hotness. That’s Burrell on the end, right?

Seconding that!

In mememe news...this weekend was so much fun, and so how I wanted to end this trip. Actually, it was even more than I could have ever hoped for. I’m gonna post pictures in a minute. Much fun was had. Today I have lunch with some former co-workers, then I get to fly home into thunder storms. YAY for delayed flight, I’m sure!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Anne, so glad I got to see you briefly. I hope things take a turn for the better. At least near home is better, for what that's worth.

Gronk. At LAX for part 3 of my 3 part vacation. Ready to collapse on beach with Harry Potter now.

(Perverts. I know what you're thinking.)

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Wow, thanks for all the pictures of pretty Buffistas! Better than a cup of coffee for getting rid of the gronk. Well...I'll get back to you after I actually have a cup of coffee.

May the iPod reveal itself quickly, Anne. And I have to ask, have you lost more weight? Your face looked thinner than the last time I saw you (or pictures of you, as the case may be.)
