Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Not it -- I don't think, anyhow. I haven't actually had a period since last January, come to think of it. But, still, in all likelihood emphatically not it.

Oh, Stephanie, the first trimester really just sucks. You're closing in on the second trimester soon, aren't you? I hope it gets much, much easier right quick.

Tons of ~ma to you and Tom, Nora.

Jilli, I'm not sure how any plan that involves waiting for coffee can be described as clever.

This is why making plans before coffee is probably not the best trick ever. But Pete did turn up, and now I am able to banish the caffeine deprivation headache that was starting to creep up on me.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

oh, joy, my salad dressing has turned up. Just when I was going to use that as an excuse to eat all the food in Cambridge and everything.

Ah, well. Salad. Good stuff I guess.

not your mom's socks.

Stephanie - they weren't just high, they said they thought I had iron poisoning. They had to do a blood test... not fun, but worth it. I don't know if that's a normal thing for most docs - this was my second ob/gyn, because the first was a practice that was not Sox-friendly. (as in - when I call [once] because I'm worried about something, please do not respond as if I am boring you and say 'there's nothing to do about it.') OB#2 was awesome, and introduced me to our doula/massage therapist - who went through the whole labor with us, and she (the OB) was the one that found the vitamin problem.

Trust my rage

Wow - I'll keep that in mind and I was going to ask at my appointment next week anyway.

Yay for the arrival of Jilli's coffee! I've never even met him, but that Pete just sounds so adorable.

brillig

How the hell do you get those hats to stay on, Jilli? Are the hatpins going *into* your head?

edit: Also, does Pete mind being called "distinguished"? Because that profile of him is, well, hot.

I love those pink stripy shoes, Jilli.
