Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Pregnancy IS hard - you're making a new person! and quality work is always harder.

Also - not it. If I should turn up pregnant, it'd be a toss-up as to who I called first - the AMA or the Vatican.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Trust my rage

I'm sure your thing is pregnancy-related but that sounds like how I felt right before I had my crazy vertigo last fall.

I'm sure it's related to the pregnancy thing, but I do worry. Bending over to help Ellie on the potty has been actually scary a few times.

Are you not eating the sugary cause you don't want to or a medical reason?

Part of it is that I gained 5 lbs in the first two weeks because the only way to stop the nausea was to eat. And I'm totally in that looking fat, not pregnant phase.

Honestly, I'm just sick of eating all the time. I'm eating to stop a bad feeling, as opposed to eating to enjoy it. I totally love all the sweets and honestly, it's one of the few things that I don't feel like I'm forcing myself to eat. I had really good Lindt chocolate in the fridge and didn't touch it for weeks. M&Ms and Twix bars, however, are screaming my name.

eta: silver lining note - the human body is pretty damn amazing because I'm so tired of eating that nausea is about the only thing that will induce me to keep eating. The spice cake cupcakes, however, sounded awesome!

~ma for Tom & Nora & family

And, of course, NOT IT as far as who might be pregnant.

Dog is my co-pilot.

Hi, Kristin T. Thanks for the welcome and the tip. I'm used to HTML and hadn't yet looked up how to do stuff in quick-edit. It sure is quicker!

brillig

Well, it's a supervisor position, but they didn't have "megalomaniacal", "tyrannical" or "despotic" as options.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Thanks for the ~ma, y'all.

I am in an insanely pissy foul mood right now because someone stole my salad dressing! I am sure that is the reason for my angst. Sure. But regardless, I want to stomp around and sulk and eat burritos and ice cream. Bleh.

Yes, this! I completely spaced on saying this. Congrats, Stephanie!

(I suspect I spaced on it because I have had NO COFFEE yet. The clever plan this morning was to not have coffee at home, and that Pete would bring me tasty iced coffee from the really good coffee shop by work. Alas, he has not reappeared with coffee yet, and I'm starting to feel a bit loopy. Gosh, I hope he didn't forget our clever plan.)
