genital topiary
Love this.
'Time Bomb'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

DH's secretary in Athens (American, older than his mother) informed him and the other officer in the section that she has a Brazilian. This has been regarded as a wildly inappropriate workplace topic by everyone.
Why does anyone care where she's...right. Has a Brazilian, not was a Brazilian.
I agree, and am glad that someone else is being scandalised. Being the moral majority takes numbers.
Maybe she meant Paulo her houseboy.
She probably shouldn't brag about that at her embassy gig either.
ita, I thought the same think! Glad to know I'm not only one. And if it was a Paulo, then I want one, too.
Happy Birthday, vw!!!
Should I not have capitalized "Brazilian" in this context? I don't have my Chicago Manual of Style handy for the section on gential topiary.
I have 2.5 hours to kill, and it's too late to get business done. Should I attempt to post some stuff on craigslist or attempt to flatiron my hair?
Happy Birthday, bug!!
I totally want to work for javachik. You don't need a librarian, do you java?
I am fortunate, though, with a little over 2 days per month PTO, and I think 8 holidays. Work is a flexible about appointments if we're talking under an hour or so (then I can often make it up), but all time, off or otherwise, is by the hour. I think some of the relative strictness is because of being in a union, and working for a state agency. We actually have to fill out leave slips if we miss work. I had never even heard of leave slips before this job.

So tagworthy.

Actually we do. But s/he's gotta have mad skillz in the pharm sciences area...and live in the SF Bay Area. Iz that you? :)
Happy Birthday, V Dub!
I starte dmy new job with 10 vacation, 10 sick, and the "normal" holidays. But Boss is pretty cool about Take a day, work a weekend day and comp time and such.
DH's employer did a thing this year where they lumped all their time off into one giant catagory--sick time, vacation, personal and family leave. I think he gets 45 days off a year but he's been with the company for 10 years.
