Woo hoo to Emmett!
Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay, Emmett!
Emmett Smay is such a baseball player's name, too.
I wonder what nickname they'll turn it into in when he gets to the majors.

I'm not sure if it's nickable. Though I call him Mooch, and his mom calls him Pea (not in the company of his friends 'cuz the whole Pee association), or Emmie.
Emmett himself tried to get people to call him Jolt, but nicknames don't work like that.
Of course, when Joe Montana came up the local paper tried to generate a nickname for him. The winner was "Big Sky."
Nobody every called him Big Sky Montana. Joe Montana was enough.
Bobby Cox would come up with something. Emmie. Smazarino. Mettsy. Amscray.
Ooh, I like Amscray. How cool for Emmett, Hec. Has he got a scrapbook started? That kind of stuff definitely needs to be preserved.
Amscray would be perfect for a good base runner.
It amazing how important a good sports nickname really is. Emmett's a good baseball name, though.
Today was the county fair--elephant ears, shaved ice, French fries and cotton candy.
And for Aimee: Baby. camel. in. the. petting. zoo.
It was so soft and cuddly! OMG. So cute. I think I got a decent picture.
((((Kristin))))))
Pirate!Jilli is fantastic! Also, not to be all whatever, but have you been losing weight? Cause, you look amazing.
Congratulations to Emmett.
DJ, can you suggest that she go to Venice and you meet her a few days later in Budapest?
Yeah, I'm kinda hoping L and I can do Budapest and M can go to Venice whenever she's ready and meet up with her cousin who lives in London.

Hey, DJ, don't be expecting a response from Jilli today. She settled on the couch with THE book about 20 minutes ago. We even made sure we have all the food we need for the day so there's as little interruption as possible. Oh, but the answer to your question is yes, she's slowly been losing weight for the last two years.
Me? I'm painting, go fig. Just as well, as it keeps me out of the way while Jilli devours the book, which, by the way, I picked up from the local QFC at 1am last night. No lines, no fuss, 40% off.
Pete! I'm out shopping. Just came across Le Mystere bras in 34 and 36 G, pale pink. $66 marked down to$14. I know Jilli's been having bra woes. Does she want I should buy?
