Calming hugs to Kristin. She's so wee & huggable.
Back to painting. Guh.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Much nothing~ma to Beverly and much calm~ma to Kristin!
May the cone of calm descend over Kristin's psyche.
Yes, and why she is spending money on friviloties like books instead of paying rent I do not know.
She is the very definition of a wastrel!
Wastrels unite, uh, if we feel like it. And it's not Special Comment night or anything.
Can I get some advice?
Y'all know about my Budapest trip right? I'd always wanted to go there, I've never been to Europe and my friend said she wanted to go too. Then she came back with not wanting to spend the whole time in Budapest, so maybe we could do Venice too. Fine, I'd love to see Venice.
Now it's coming time to book and she's insisting no Venice, no her, but with Venice thrown in, my Europe on the cheap is now over $1,500, and I just don't think I can afford that.
Plus, Budapest is really, really inexpensive- I don't know about Venice. It's not what I researched because it's not my dream European vacation.
Maybe I can see if L will help me talk the other one down. I just kinda feel like my vacation has been hijacked. Even though I did agree to Venice initially.
If she isn't going , why Venice?
DJ, you should tell her that if she wants Venice, then she can do the whole trip on her own. It's sounding like her entire trip is dependent on company. If you stonewall, then she's got to back off on her demands and compromise a little.
She's going. She just asked if we could throw in Venice, which was fine. But now she's saying she doesn't want to go if there's no Venice, and it's looking like I can't afford it with Venice.
It's like before I thought it would be a fun option, but now it's a requirement that I may not be able to meet.
