Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

That intelligent designer has a lot to answer for, I tell you what.

I think human gestation must have been delegated to one of the interns. Also knees.

And the back. Specifically the lumbar area.

Mostly lurking...

My bad.

No prob. Just wanted to make sure before I made a trip there. I'm probably going to put in an order for some tops from Lane Bryant. They're basic, but they work.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe we're in beta and no one thought to mention it.

Punishingly Intricate

which means you can buy a size lower if you want.

hahah...not if you have big boobs!

Actually I'm wearing a PERFECT 3/4 sleeve, stretchy cotton H&M shirt right now and wishing I'd bought many more identical in different colors when they were available. It is exactly the right length and the neckline is scooped but not too low!

That sucks H&M phased out their plus-size line. There should be H&M for EVERYONE!

Another good way to get clothes that fit you at minimal cost is organizing a clothing swap with ladies of varying sizes! They also can be super fun!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Just heard from #1 choice job. They went with someone else.

I have a horrible feeling I'm gonna have to work for asshat.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Crap, I'm sorry Aimee.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'm having a day. Not a bad day, just an edgy, stressful day. I'm stuck at school from now until 8:30 tonight (for good reasons--watching a professional company perform Midsummer in the courtyard here at school, but still...long-ass day), so I'm having a really hard time focusing on getting shit done right now. Argh. I took a Ritalin this morning, but it does not seem to be working today. I am nsm focused as scattered and restless. Verra irritating.

ETA: I'm so sorry, Aimee. You'll find something better, I'm sure.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

so sorry to hear that, aimee.

Sorry your number 1 didn't work out but I really hope asshat does not have to happen for you (or, if it does, it's just for a short while until something better than your previous #1 comes along and it's not as asshattery as expected and that we get amusing stories out of it).

Also known as the Here, Have A Thing! game. Always fun to play.

Aimee, I'm sorry. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

ION, I have The Ick. And my attempt to work from home today isn't going well at all, due to the corporate network being cranky and randomly logging me out. This is of Teh Suck, and I would like to feel better now.
