Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

you could just write the whole paper...

I'm procrastinating on my own book, thank-you very much! I don't need anyone else's deadlines hanging over my head.

My grump by this is partly because this week one of the Deans came down to discuss with me how she'd like the librarians to take over the legal research component of the 1L program this coming semester -- without any additional compensation, of course.

Dear People,

We really don't sit here an twiddle our thumbs all day just waiting for you to give us work. We write, we teach, we manage millions of dollars in resources and we make it look easy.

Signed, The Librarians

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Pete! I bought one of your Magic cards at the comic store yesterday! (The Archivist. [Because he's all bookish and nerdy.] [Like me!])

(I already had Shinka Gatekeeper and Kitsune Diviner.)

(Shut up.)

SNERK! So are you collecting some cards for the art, or just my stuff?

Well, mostly I flip through the $1 box of Magic cards to see if there are any of your cards there. Because I'm a fangirl like that.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

If I'm going to be Lupin, shouldn't I go get some old suit or something? With a bowtie?

Also, shouldn't I look even paler?

I don't think taking Em would be a good idea. She wouldn't get it and it would be so late. We'd have Lupin, Tonks and a Screamer.

We are at the Treehouse now, having obtained breakfast.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hey - instead of the student crap housing, how about a 2 bedroom loft on Michigan Ave above Bombadills? $1100/mo. 2 bedroom. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, central A/C....

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

You could dress Em in red and take her as a Howler.

$10,000 to Ginger.

Also, if we don't take her then we need to figure something out cause I don't want to leave her with my parents.

First: Loft. Wow. Sounds awesome! Can we *afford* it? Second: Loft. Are you still intent on buying your grandma's house? If so, will Stuart do a month-to-month?

Also, if we don't take her then we need to figure something out cause I don't want to leave her with my parents.

*sigh* If that's the case, how about you go and I'll stay with Em?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Loft: We might be able to swing it. It'd be tight, but we'd be out of my parents house.

House: I'm back up in the air because I am being petulant and crabby and angry and petty and acting like a five year old.

Leaving Em with Parents: See above re: petulant, crabby, angry, petty, acting like 5 year old.

Leaving Em with Parents: See above re: petulant, crabby, angry, petty, acting like 5 year old.

House: Take a deep breath. This is too big a thing to decide based on petulance, crabbiness, anger or pettiness.

Ask yourself this question: If we don't buy your Grandma's house, how will you feel when somebody else inevitably does?

Em and Parents: This? Not so big a decision. If you really don't want to leave Em with your folks tonight, I'll stay back.
