[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Happy Birthday, SA.

I hope you find another job with ample travel, Meara.

SA & Meara are always associated in my mind as I met them both at F2F LA and they never seemed to be apart. So, having said this the fact that Meara lost her job on SA's birthday? Weird.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

How scary, Raq. Much ~ma to your cousin and her baby.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Dear god, Raq.

Only good thing is that she and the baby are better off without him than with him.

A world of yes. A universe of yes.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Holy shit, Raq. I'm so glad she and the baby are out of there, but what a growing nightmare the last couple of years must have been.

Damn, Raq, that's just fucked up. Good thoughts for your niece.

Hmmm. Not quite the right style ("close fitting through the hips"?), but still so tempting!

It's not my favorite style of skirt either, but it was too cute to pass up, especially on a clearance rack of buy one get one free.

Is it common to have to make an appointment to have your make-up done at a Sephora store? I have never had to do that at a make-up counter before.

move out and draw fire

Yeah. I'm torn between offering to take her in here, where he can't likely find her, and being scared he would find her and there would be violence. Because I will perforate that sumbitch if he comes near my people.

Her baby is the cutest little thing, but I really kind of wish she hadn't had a kid with this guy.

"Where's Teppy today?"

"Oh, she got all Ponn-Farr'd last night and won't be in for the week."

Pete! I bought one of your Magic cards at the comic store yesterday! (The Archivist. [Because he's all bookish and nerdy.] [Like me!])

(I already had Shinka Gatekeeper and Kitsune Diviner.)

(Shut up.)

It may just be that we're both hot and smart. I haven't actually seen meara since last April, though, which is sad-making. And Pete I get to see soon.
