Clothes shopping and shoe shopping are equally horrible. Every time I step into a store that sells clothes, I feel the walls closing in.
I have no girl cred. I just proved it again by getting a hairbrush hopelessly entangled in my hair while I was attempting blowdrying.
There's a used clothing store in Berkeley or Oakland that carries only large sizes.
Ohhh, do you remember the name? I know of a place in Alameda, but it is always nice to find others.

Eh. I'm pretty girly and I do that all the time. It's not a question of girly so much as, "Is it possible for me to injure, maim, or otherwise embarass myself with this?"

Seams to Fit. I forgot it last time I was there, but double-checked with the friend that introduced me to it. I can never remember which town it is in, but I love it. They only go down to about size 14. Last I was there, there was a junk store next door, and this store is kind of falling apart at the seams, but the clothes are nice and cheap and the folks there are
so
nice.

I have NEVER been able to do that and I'm pretty girly. I've always wanted to just travel with a hairbrush and use the hair dryer in the hotel, but no. Always with the hot rollers or curling iron or hair in a bun.
I am still at work. Gronk?
Nice thing about short hair? Hard to get the brush entangled.

I just passed that place on Sunday on my way to take Matilda to visit her Papou! It's on Telegraph Ave. between Ashby and Alameda Streets, just barely on the Berkeley side of the city line.
It's really a kinda neat area -- the funky vintage boutique/hair salon Down At Lulu's is right nearby, as well as an enormous antique/junk store that fills up a nearby 2-story house and spills out over the yard and sidewalk, an excellent diner, and, further down Telegraph just past Alameda, a bookstore and a kids' stuff store that have always looked nifty and tempting but I've never actually stopped and looked in because I am lame.
Me too.
What time do you get in?

Ahhh, I remember that place. Will have to investigate. My place is called All the More to Love and the gal who owns it lives behind me.
9:10, supposed to be at 9 though. I was late for juliana!
Going home now though.
I pick up Mr. Jane tomorrow morning!
bounce, bounce, bounce, bouncing on home.
