hi AmyLiz
After I finished using the shop vac to get rid of all the silt from repairing the roof and a zillion cobwebs, I settled in my newly cleaned room and read the first chapter of
Room Service.
I did not have it in me to stay awake any longer than that. I often read before I go to sleep, but I went to sleep with a smile on my face enjoying it more than usual.
Back from my walk. Waking the boys now and am considering ripping out the living room ceiling to expose the beams. Fear me.
Excellent!
I have been woefully neglectful, AmyLiz, on the vampire book. Durng the school year, teacherly stuff seems to suck up a lot of my time and creative impulse.
I do have twice as much as the last time you read it. Wanna see? (Just to read quick, not to beta, if you don't want. Maybe just the act of showing someone will get me off my lasy ass...and er, on my writing ass?!)
::beams at Laura's smile::
Yes, please, Erin!
Bev and Ailleann, insent. Not that you asked.
::scuffs toe in the dirt::
And now for something worth mentioning. [link]
A Viking ship made from ice-cream sticks set sail across the Netherlands' IJsselmeer lake on Friday and its stuntman builder hopes to cross the Atlantic later.
The 15-metre Thor was made from 15 million recycled ice-cream sticks glued together by US-born Robert McDonald, his son and more than 5,000 children.
A fifty foot Popsicle boat! wheee! I only made birdhouses and storage boxes...
Insent to profile addy, AmyLiz.
Oh, a fifty-foot popsicle stick boat would be something to see. I hope there are photographs, eventually.
Backflung, Amy. And...guh.
Bev and Ailleann, insent. Not that you asked.
Woah. Um. It's hard to type on a melted monitor. Guh.
Also, backflung.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZENKITTY!
and thanks d. I t sounds like it was just one of those bizzare, horrible accidents
Happy birthday, Zenkitty!
