Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Am watching Monk. Am drinking wine. Am inexplicably (well, maybe not Inexplicably) teary. Have lost Pronouns.

I long for someone to clean, both in the prony sense and the literal sense.

I'm entering all my appointments for this year into an online system so I can run reports. Bored Now.

The status is NOT quo.

Love the chair, Juliana!

Bwhahaha! I love those! And they do seem to reflect your personalities...

My boss was on vacation all week until today. Which is why my coworker and I were the ones in the meeting with the CEO until 9pm on Tuesday.

But boss was in Napa. So this afternoon, she whipped out a bottle of wine, and we finished what we were doing at 5pm (which for me is earlier than I'd leave) and we all sat drinking the bottle in her office. Whee!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My advisor actually finally read the paper I've been writing. And he had actually helpful comments on it!

And now I'm working on some genealogy stuff. And trying to decide what the polite degree of google-stalking possible relatives is. (Just sent off an email to someone whose email address I got through several rounds of searches. I explained to her in the email how I found her address, so it wasn't just totally out of nowhere.)

Our wings are not tired

I'm sitting through a production of Midsummer Nights Dream. I would much rather be a home. I would also prefer it if my right ear didn't hurt.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Sympathies on the ear, ND.

Is the MND as warped as the one on Eureka last season?

Heh. I had completely forgotten about those. I see I am applicably chirpy in my image.

My sister got me a pair of the Adidas by Stella McCartney sneakers. I think these are quite possibly the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. They're ridiculously narrow, there's an elastic across the instep that is so tight it forces my arch to flatten completely, and the heels are designed so weirdly that the only way I can walk in them is to let my ankles turn all the way in. They're so wrong, I can't believe the person who engineered these things has ever actually seen feet.

They're really cute shoes, though, and I keep looking at them and thinking, "They're not so bad, maybe they just need to be broken in a bit," and then I put then on and remember why I just took them off.
