Mine is much like Tom's, though I did accomplish running up to the 7-11 in search of coffee and walking the dogs.
Supposed to be off at 1 today because we're working 9-5 tomorrow. We'll see.
edited because I apparently don't do posessive apostrophies before 9 am.
Nora, you should totally go get the book. It's worth it.

yeah, but then I feel like I'm not living up to a deal I made, which makes me feel kind of crappy. It's not even like there's anything much to do here, so it's all about, you know, keeping my word and all that shit. Bah! Still want to go out and do it though.

So it turns out that the real problem with S being out of town isn't that I had to get to the airport at nothing-o'clock yesterday morning. It's that he's still out there in the part of the world that does not contain me! For a week! Wah!
Damn. I would totally come over and pick it up for you, but I've got so much to do today.

Children's television is weirding me the fuck out.
Just now, checking my e-mail and not really paying attention, I had this statement punch through to my consciousness:
"Hey...you're really great at squeezing like an anaconda!"
Now Emeline is saying "Daddy, me want go TV."
To which I said "Hell, no, not until you're eighteen."

Well, my craven desires may win out yet.

Oh, yeah. I know this one well. I'm sorry, DJ and amy! I'm always a bit off and sad when Tom's out of town. (Happily, this does not happen with any frequency anymore but it was a kind of regular thing for a while)
When my DH is out of town, I often end up just sleeping on the couch because our bed feels wrong without him there.
