Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

DJ, all I can say is wibble.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That note is incredibly sweet.

I can't get to sleep. I'm not sure why. So I'm reading Harry Potter and eating a Tofurkey sandwich. Not quite sure why the sandwich, either. I almost never buy tofurkey -- I went grocery shopping while I was hungry, and ended up buying all kinds of weird stuff.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yup.

Was getting ready for my awful event this morning. Went to put on lipstick and there it was. Composing myself was not easy.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

this summer may kill me. we are doing so much work for the summer reading game/summer programs. I spent an hour with Safety Bill 2 weeks ago. 2hours with the astrowizard today. I have had to run heard on these guys that are so into their subjects that they sometimes for get about the practical stuff. Next week - our wizard fair - a jeopardy game followed by crafts and games. mostly put together by 12- 15 yr olds. ( I am truely amazed at what the kids have come up - we have a gian tpin the scar on harry potter - drawn by one of the girls) Some of the kids are going to win the new book. But I expect chaos. I'll be fine while it is going on - but I'll be dead afterwards

Yeah. I think even after 10 years, one month and 25 days, I'm fucking doomed.

I get that note; he wears eyeliner; paints his nails, and is a big, beary guy who gets along with everybody who's not an asshole.

Night y'all. I'm apparently going to go have fantasies about my husband.

Our wings are not tired.

Awwwwww, Daisy. So, so sexy and sweet. (Also, love the pics)

Emily, your hair looks beautiful.

I have just guiltily realized that I kept putting off responding to the Sunday brunch invite (because I wasn't sure where I'd be most of this weekend) and then completely flaked on responding at all. I suck. I won't be able to go, and I already miss everyone.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Early morning thread smells like coffee and detergent.

Morning, all. Aims had to get up for work and Emeline got up with her. So, natch, here I am.

Later, after coffee, I'll do some last minute cleaning and take the kid to an indoor playground.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

What it reminds me, Aimee and MM, is that we haven't seen new Emeline pictures in roughly forever. We must have more cute.

take the kid to an indoor playground.
