Personally, I've not thought of Mr. Rogers one way or another for some time. But that guy in the Wall Street Journal can, in the words of Tommy Gavin(not mister Rogers) suck my cock. How dare he care about preschool kids, right? What an asshole. And I can tell you that being on PBS meant he approached kids that *weren't* exactly expected to own the world when they grew up. Conservatives like to pretend there aren't two levels of self-esteem...it's been a long time since child development, but from what I remember it has two levels: One for when you're tiny, and trying to learn your worth as a human being. and the kind that comes as you begin accomplishing things and managing your environment. It's all important. I want the ten minutes back that I wasted on that crap, thanks. Nothing to say about move-in. I never had one.
