Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

Aims, are you sure that the rest were just friends of hers? I couldn't expand the list (it's obviously a list she set up, so the To: field just shows Mom's e-mail addy). I tried calling her to give her either a stern warning or a taste of unholy hell (depending on her reaction), but she wasn't home.

Vortex, backflung. Also, you are made of awesome. (not news)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aims, are you sure that the rest were just friends of hers?

To be fair, no. Not entirely sure. t is abashed at making an ass out of me and umption

Still irritated though.

See, the thing is, I can't blame this one on "Oh, mom's just senile and completely unaccustomed to this newfangled modern gimmickry". She knows enough of what she's doing that I would find it difficult to believe this was an "accident".

No, knowing my Mom, she equates having Aimee work for the man as being the same thing as her, my mother, having access to the man. Which just ain't so, and I shall reinforce that with her in the strongest possible terms.

Mostly lurking...

Cashmere, those pictures are gorgeous, and the one of you and DH is awesome. I'd buy that and frame it.

Hush, you, you're deflating my righteous wrath and replacing it with "Aw, golly shucks."

My sister got some of the professional photo proofs from her wedding.

WOW, you look REALLY BEAUTIFUL. I'm glad that you resisted the tanning decree. And you and DH look so cute!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thanks, Vortex. You guys are good for my self esteem.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Cashmere, you look lovely! No tan needed. I'm glad you resisted the tanning zeitgeist. DH is a cutie pie, too!

I think I should get my teeth whitened, and then I think I'm falling prey to yet another marketing campaign to make me feel that something normal like the color of my teeth is Hideous! and must be fixed at whatever cost or I will not be Sexy!. Twenty years ago, no one worried that their teeth were unsightly unless they were clearly damaged or something. Sparkling white Chiclet teeth are not normal. One of my girlfriends got Chiclet teeth for her wedding, and it looks odd (to me) to have bright white teeth in a face mature enough to have wrinkles.

Pardon my rant. A little whitening does make one look younger. It's just the Chiclet effect that's weird. Okay, back to work.
