Weirdly tangential to the Black Crowes...I just finished listening to Goldie Hawn's autobiography A Lotus Grows in Mud, read by the author. I was surprised by how incredibly NOT interesting it was.

She chose a couple of anecdotes to highlight ,for the purpose of dispelling, her reputation as a pita. Sadly, the strategy failed. I love her work and am impressed by the life she's built for herself, but can't say I'd want to have lunch with her based on this book.
