Berkeley, much easier to get to after work. Mom just called and asked if I could pick up something small, inexpensive, and "saucy" for her to add to her gift. I think she is afraid her gift is boring. Well, it is...but that was her choice. I'll see what I find.

This is for my cousin's fiance. The cousin was a ring bearer at my wedding. Well, he was supposed to be - he ended up sucking his thumb and refusing to walk up the aisle.

Spent 5 days at the lake house with mom, dad, bro, bro's girlfriend (who is Teh Whip!), sis, sis's fiance, and Em.

I only got sunburned on my behind which furthers my claim that no matter how much or how high my SPF is, I will always burn my ass. OTOH, keeping 15 on all day and reapplying after being in the water has given me a nice glow. Yay glow!

Had a really great time.

So, I think the post-party clean-up is done. Cass is in the shower. I think I can call last night's party our best 4th ever, because we had enough sparklers that the bucket of water we used to hold the burnt-out sparklers caught on fire. All the sparkler sticks started merrily burning away. It was a pity we didn't have any marshmallows, but they probably would have ended up seasoned with gunpowder.
