I walk. I talk. I shop, I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out. And I don't sleep on a bed of bones.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Dear Neighbors,
I know that we are a live-and-let-live neighborhood. I am also aware that we, too, have parties from time to time.

However. We do not play music 11:20 at night so loudly that it pounds through your bedroom wall, especially music that includes a throbbing bass line.

I'm happy that you're having a good time. Really I am. But honest to God, if you keep my extremely jet-lagged, extremely tired boy up all night when he has to get up and get on another plane in the morning, I will end you.

No love,
Kristin

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Went to dinner and a movie tonight with my best friend from high school. We don't see eachother often, but when we do it is like no time has elapsed.

Anyway - we bought tickets to see Knocked Up, went to dinner, returned to the theater and walked in to find the movie half over and that we had lost track of time at dinner. Instead of watching the last half of the movie, we theater hopped and saw Ratatouille instead. The theater was FULL so we ended up in the front row. Felt like we were back in high school...

FUN night.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Chiming in with congrats to both Deena and Brenda. I likes it when good things happen to the bestest people ever.

Also, Jilli, adding my two cents in on the awsomeness that is Celexa. It does take a while to build up, but once it does it really does the job.

Our wings are not tired

Gronk. It is too early to be waiting to board a flight. I've been up since before seven.

Morning all! Not that it's morning, or even near, here.

I had an interview on Friday for a great job, and I'll hear about it next week sometime. The thing is, they wanted me to send them some samples of my writing, as reports for publication will be part of the job and they want to check I'm not illiterate, presumably. Sod's Law, however, states that my laptop is out of action at the moment and the only thing I have is a slightly crap thing on my memory stick. Argh.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Debet! I'm glad you've got a job at a school you like. And yay for cheap housing! 6 hours from family is good. Close enough to visit, not so close that they expect you there every weekend.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Exactly. Not that Dad would, anyway, but it makes it easier with extended family.

Crap, Jars that sucks! Any chance you have anything printed out you can re-type? That would be ass too, but maybe better than nothing? Or can ask an old prof/teacher/boss for something?

My friend G was visiting from Alabama, last night. I took a nap from 7-10, because I had a migraine. Then I felt better, so we all went out...and then she and I stayed up talking until 4:30AM. Because I had that nap, so I was all awake!

She had to leave at 10AM, but then I went back to bed and just woke up. Tonight/tomorrow is going to be a pain.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Morning...er...afternoon, all.

I had anice evening. Went over to a friend's house, hung out with her and her husband, who had invited a co-worker, who was a CUTE SINGLE guy who was actually (gasp!) interesting. There was some flirtage. Artist (presenting a line of art to DC Comics in a month), DJ, from New York, owned a club on Canal Street which was demolished on 9/11. Helping raise his 13 y.o. niece. Smart, Puerto Rican, cooked calzones from stratch, including the bread.

Fun evening. Hmm.
