Sounds like some exciting possibilities there, ND. I know you have worked hard for this success. Much ~ma
Yay Brenda!! Home ownership. Scary exciting!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Atlanta had a lot of those - I think it was a beep in one direction and a chirping noise (like birds) in the other. But there was a facility of some sort for the blind in that area. Can't see how it would be all that helpful at Gallaudet.
Our little town added that chirping noise. I just heard it last night. It's to help blind pedestrians. There's no blind facility down town, but I still think it's kind of neat.
woke up feeling good. sadly there seems to be coughing and spitting going on, so not good. I had hoped it was just a two day thing, but lungs are involved now....sigh
My town has a lot of both - countdown and chirp/beeps. Plus the handicap ramp down to the crosswalk is all bumpy to show where the sidewalk transitions to street. We do not have a huge blind population here, but we are VERY vision impared friendly.
Context for those not from DC or otherwise aware - Gallaudet is a university for the deaf. So the chirping not so much with the helpful.
The Gallaudet campus is really pretty. I kind of miss being on an actual campus like that. Pretty brick buildings and quads filled with trees and stuff like that. Plus, better technology than most other campuses I've seen -- wireless access everywhere, not just in common areas and libraries, and every classroom has the stuff like overhead projectors attached to computers that my school only has in the special "smart classrooms" that they show off on tours.
G'morning. I have to be at work in 4.5 hours, and make it down to Trader Joe's and work in a run in that time, as well. Feh.
OTOH, I went out around midnight and had a really nice time, capped with a nice talk with M at the end of the night. So that was good. He called me a few times before I came out to make sure I was okay, too. Sweetie.
Also in the freaky-ass dreams corner. I dreamt that I was visiting friends in MSP, and Z showed up with some random skank and then spent the evening trying to kiss me. I roll my eyes at my subconscious, except for how it chose to dress the skank. That was funny.
Hmmm.... tough call.
Harmony Remote.
The big brains are worth it.
Yep... We likes the big brains.
I just cleaned out one email inbox and deleted or filed over 400 emails. Most deleted. Almost all really. Just 61 in the inbox now. That seems reasonable. Reasonabler, at least.
Now to tackle the one with 897 unthreaded emails in the inbox.

Good morning afternoon. We went to see the Buffy singalong at a local theater last night and didn't get home til 2:30am. This after a day of getting up at 7am.
The tired; it's there but it's waiting for the opportune moment to really kick my ass.
