I am a bad mother effer. Today, by myself, I hung four speakers, built my first three Speakon connectors successfully, and got all four main speakers up and running successfully. All for a job ND passed along to me, because he was too busy with better paying gigs.
ND has such a cool job, I get a cool job from his leftovers.
Also, ND is a very good teacher.
I'm feeling very, very proud of myself today.

How sad is it that I'd rather stay home and play with my new digital recording/transcribing equipment than go to fireworks and hang out with people?

I think part of it is that I just want some quiet time too. I've been with people for more than 24 hours solid (with about three hours to sleep in there). It'd be nice to have a nice, quiet, alone activity.
Oh, well. I'll go be social.
