Today is just out of control. I can haz new Ya-who jobz now?
I am right there with you. In fact, once I get back from my weekly check-in meeting with my boss, I think I'm going to spend some time updating my resume. Because if I don't, I will go crazy.
THEN having to explain to her (AGAIN!!!) that the page count has to be divisible by four and WHY.
Well, I suppose you could
not
have a number of pages divisible by four, and then add some extra blank pages that say, "This page intentionally left blank because my boss is an idiot."
Oh, you were trying not to be mean.
yes, but clearly, i'm not very good at it.
Most of the time I don't even try. Does that mean I'm not very good at it either?
Righteous fury seems more your speed than boring ol' meanness, Vortex.
THEN having to explain to her (AGAIN!!!) that the page count has to be divisible by four and WHY.
How did this person get a job in publishing? HOW? Would you like a croquet mallet to smack her with?
And now, in the time-honored tradition of ignoring stress by window-shopping on eBay: Oooh, one of the MCR armbands from the previous tour! I just don't know if I want to spend $45 to indulge my fangirlishness. (And yes, I can hear Pete saying that I do not need it, and that I should close the browser window.)
Since I'm not in publishing it took me about a minute and a half to figure out why it has to be divisible by four.
Sail is me.
She's been in publishing how long? I'll be glad to bitchslap her for you if no one else will.
I'll let Sail take it, she's related to the Roller Derby. I think her bitchslapping powers are probably Mighty.

I would swear you just had a weekly check-in, like, day before yesterday. Are these at least helpful to you in some way, or yet more time taken away from Stuff You're Trying to Finish?

Am I the only one who finds the irony of printing "this page intentionally left blank" hilarious? When I first pointed it out around here ("here" meaning Work, not b.org, where Irony is properly appreciated) I got a lot of blank looks - Engineers, y'know.
