Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

Damn it, I'm still watching these things.

Depeche Mode back when they looked like your high school chess club.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Speaking of which - do the members of Depeche Mode still claim to not understand why they have a big gay following?

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Hurt myself laughing at Connolly.

Here's a tune I'd completely forgotten - Orange Juice's 'Rip It Up' [link]

Eta: Heh. I just rediscovered Transvision Vamp.

Anyway, that's enough video babble from me. I guess I might try and paint something...

I really need to sleep, but I keep watching Thomas Dolby videos.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I really need to sleep, but I keep watching Thomas Dolby videos.

I should go start running my bath, but I keep watching MCR interviews.

The status is NOT quo.

I should try to sleep, but I can't turn my brain off. I'm watching SG-1 instead.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I should sleep, but I just finished cleaning my apartment and need to catch up on work reading. Next up: New Scientist.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Here's a nice bit of David Sylvian Eye Candy.

It's weird how much Duran Duran took from Japan. Simon's vocals, Nick Rhodes look. I mean, I always knew Japan was an influence, but this really sounds exactly like a Duran Duran song.

I really should sleep, but I'm dyeing my hair.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I mean, I always knew Japan was an influence, but this really sounds exactly like a Duran Duran song.

As much as it pains me to say it, feeling like a traitor to DSquared, only with a lot more talent.

Though I don't think Simon's vocals owe that much to Sylvian's, except for the part where they probably both owe huge debts to Bryan Ferry and David Bowie.
