I finally bought a membership to The Hungtington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens! I'm very happy. I've lived in Pasadena a year, yet haven't been there yet. Will rectify that today, assuming I get my butt in the shower soon.
'Get It Done'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ginger, your nieces and nephews children are beautiful. Those are great shots of them, too. Where was the one with all the tulips taken?
The plane is finally on the way here.
I KNEW it was a Portland plot to make me want to move there, giving me all that pretty pretty weather!!The rain has been short in duration but really rather torrential. Right now? Bright blue skies and puffy clouds. I love how changeable the weather is here. It's still a beautiful day, just with the occasional monsoon for about fifteen minutes.
I should really run down to the car while I can make it without being drenched.
Gah, ND. I'm sorry about travel heinousness- mine from last week is still fresh enough in my memory that my stomach tightened up with anxiety while reading your description. Much ~ma for that bullshit to QUIT IT NOW and the rest of your trip to be super smooth..
~ma for Anne's stepdad. and also Anne and Anne's mom.
Ginger- cute kidlets! I can totally see the resemblence, btw. love the tutus.
Happy belated birthday, Steph! You need to come up to Vermont to celebrate.

Say hello to Diana, Viscountess Crosbie, when you see her. She lives next to Blue Boy and Pinkie, and I miss visiting with her from my month working at the Huntington.
Also, the medieval icons kick butt.

Had to scroll back to find the links. So sweet. Love the pretty dance outfits.
They're my half sister's children's children. I don't get my hands on their pictures very often, because they mail the pictures to my mother. My nephew, at least, has finally moved into the digital age, though.
Oh, I remember those fluffy dance recital costumes. Mine was chartreuse and purple satin, with a long chartreuse tulle skirt under a scalloped and gathered purple satin short tap skirt, and a chartreuse satin capelet with purple satin turnbacks, over a chartreuse satin leotard-thing. We peeled off pieces for subsequent numbers. Oh--not forgetting the paper plate "hat" covered in chartreuse satin and purple fabric flowers to match the ones diagonally across the front of the "leotard." And the hyoooge chartreuse satin bows on the tap shoes. My mom made every stitch. Of course, she was the one who stuck me in the class to start with so it served her right.
I was five.
Those little girls are adorable, Ginger, and not a one of them is wearing chartreuse and purple, though fucshia tulle is pushing that envelope. The little boy, however? Somebody hand me a spoon, I want to eat 'im up.
ND, soo sorry about the travel meshuges.
