The one good thing about insomnia tonight is I'm catching the end of the Red Sox game. I haven't caught any of the very late west coast games this season.
Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Once we got past the cardio people who kept saying "He's too young to be having a heart attack!", we've dealt with some terrific cardiologists. Dr. Wang deserves his own place in the pantheon of heart gods, for coming out himself to bring me into his surgical room after an "oops", then for going up himself to fetch Hubby's personal items after Hubby was moved to Cardiac ICU instead of back to the normal hospital room. The next day he popped his head into Hubby's room at midnight, after his last procedure, just to check on Hubby's progress.
Yes, I know we're lucky.
Boo insomnia. Yay baseball?
You'd think cardio people, of all med techs would *know* there isn't a lower age limit for heart attacks, just increasing probabilities.
Sheesh.
I figure any patient with the right symptoms is Schrodinger's patient and you have to anticipate any outcome.
Lucky is good, connie. Never ever apologize for lucky. Things go wrong far too often, so when good things happen don't ever apologize.
Oh, Laura, I'm sorry about the sleepover bad timing. But boys are pretty easy to accomodate, and can be very sweet and supportive, at least my kids' friends were. I hope things go smoothly.
I'm so sorry about the non-sleeping toof-cutting Matilda, but I'm sure she's very winning, even awake at ungodly o'clock. And I'd never expect Emmett to be other than doting. That little girl grabbed onto his heartstrings early on, and he didn't fight it for a second.
Oh, JZ. Keep a list. I swear I'll be back to tour with you just as soon as I can be. If I have to drive down from Bellingham to do it.
Because we fell in love with the area and if at all humanly possible, we are going to move there. It's just a question of how soon--it may take a couple of years, but it will happen. And you have to admit, driving from WA is a whole lot closer than driving from NC, yes?

Rest~ma for Laura.
I have to get up in a little over 6 hours to go to this rassafrackin' test. So what am I doing? Cleaning the toilet.
Sometimes I think my brain is like a pinball machine and just needs a good thwacking. Then I remember what a good thwacking does to the brain and scrap the plan.
