Just got back from taking Legion to the vet (with Mallory in the Miata - Legion was actually the best he's ever been on a car ride), where one item of business was to find the missing microchip. It's down by his ass. The vet said they've only ever seen one other migrate.
Now I'm obsessively hitting Reload on the flight status page for R's flight. 2 hours!!!
First I say that you people that post on Treos and such are dedicated freaks. I could go blind doing this. And this Pocket PC screen isn't even that tiny.
Shrort version is that DHs friend logged into the system to check the brain scan and he has a shiny clean.undamaged brain. Asshole cardiologist hadn't even.bothered to look at th results. Huge relief. Big heart damage but more fixy than the grey matter.

Raq - migrating chips are really not that unusual! The technology has improved now but, depending on the age of your cat and when you had him chipped, it may be more likely than not.

sumi, he was chipped 3 years ago - now he's double-chipped (migrate all you want! We'll make more!) as they couldn't find the first one for the flight back.

Also, Pete, Drew is driving but asked me to tell you that he is not going to be able to play on Sunday after all since he'll be on a plane. He got called to program a show for Nickelodeon in Orlando, so he's going to be gone from Sunday through Thursday.
Oh bugger.
Well, if I see him online on Saturday night I might have to invite him to some ass-kicking... but I suspect I will be busy with real life. Probably. Maybe.
