Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Is okay, I know it's unreasonable. I'm just having a shit day in general. I'm sick of all my co-workers like whoa.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Gods, Laura. All my ~ma towards you.

GC, I did not look at your links, because I know you have fun taste and I would be tempted to buy everything, and my impulse control is very poor right now. However, I'm sure everything was awesome.

(Waaaaaant to buy things....)

Also, mergh. I have proven myself incapable of reading a schedule, and the Y class that I thought is today was yesterday. Should I go and work out anyway, just using the machines on my own, or should I just make sure to make my personal trainer appointment tomorrow? I already ran this morning.... Next month, I'm totally taking Tae Kwan Do. Awesome.

Ack, ChiKat! I'm sorry they gave you an ultimatum! I'd still keep dialing the phone, down the list of 1-3, to see if anyone will delay the time you have to let them know.

Laura, lots of health ~ma and cope ~ma for you and Bob and your DH.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

One difficulty with the shopping is that I literally do not know this neice. I've never met her, and Tom hasn't seen her since toddler/young kid age. So I am sort of prone to dealing with generics. Do not even get me started on the almost 17 year old nephew (they're brother and sister). I have NO idea. His birthday's in August, need to start thinking about that too.

We're like mysterious aunt and uncle in America- it's Tom's brother's family, and his brother has been AWOL for YEARS. (and the 2 brothers were never close to start with) So, the connection is a little tenuous and heartbreaking but we keep plugging along. Got a heartbreaker of a letter from the 13 year old. Had me pricing flights to Ireland right quick.

I did end up ordering this... [link]

ION...

Seriously, I am so tired I can't even believe that I ever did anything or exerted any effort in my life ever. It seems like such an impossibility.

Nora, she'll love it. Very dainty and pretty.

the comments seemed also to indicate that it was an appropriate choice... not too much for a 13 year old, but pretty.

Thanks, GC. I am going to bookmark Pottery Barn Teen and Delia's for future reference. Every summer (birthdays) and Christmas we go through the same scramble, so resources on hand are always good.

I have to look at Delia's more carefully when I have my brain and attention span back. It looks fun!

oh that's beautiful! I bet she'll love it.

I = crazy at new job. Very overwhelmed. And Change is Hard. It's been making me cry some and really miss my old co-workers and boss.

But commute is AWESOME! And I had sushi by the water around the corner at lunch today. And the commute? So AWESOME.

And I'm going to NY tomorrow for a little vacation. Scheduling a long weekend vacation right away was genius, I think.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Anne's hiding something from us! It appears that her stepfather's name is *NOT* Glen as she'd hve us suspect.

Anne's stepfather is, in fact, Jimmy Kimmel. [link]

I hear you!

And you should go knock on Sox's door some lunch hour. Quick like, before she moves.
