Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Wow, my hair has not been this short in a while.

It's shoulder-length. I like it, but I'm not used to it yet. Here, have a photo:

Jilli, it looks great! How long was it before?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I never look relaxed when Scott takes my picture, either.

How would we know? You never post the pictures!

Let Ben take your picture.

Question for the hivemind...

If I need a piece of fabric 28" by 32", how much of a yard is that?

Is there an easy place to figure this out?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Very pretty hair, Jilli!

Tons of ~ma, vw.

information libertarian

Most fabric is 45" wide. A yard is 36" long.

Three-quarters of a yard will do you, assuming the fabric is standard width.

Thanks flea!

I know that made me sound completely brainless, but I'm blaming lack of caffeine, and never buying fabric before.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Going back to last night, when meara posted this:

Oh, and for y'all who were telling me to be bold, earlier? If I am on IM with you, and discussing drinking, and you say you are jealous I am drinking wine, because you are in a place where there is no drinking allowed? And you like beer? And I say I will gladly get you drunk and take advantage of you, next time i see you? would you not say that is being fairly freakin' CLEAR in my intentions, and you should feel free to be flirtatious right back at me????

If that was me when I was younger, I'm pretty sure I would have failed to flirt back. Probably because I'd be in a state of panic.

So maybe she's aware of the flirtage but just isn't good at it, or it makes her uncomfortable.

Mostly lurking...

Ok. Finally got somewhere with an agency in my friend's town. Cross your fingers that this works out.
