Angel: Yeah, I never told anyone about this, but I-I liked your poems. Spike: You like Barry Manilow.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thanks everyone. Still no word yet on whether it's trouble NOW or trouble down the road.

JZ! I love the cut. A gorgeous woman is made even more phenomenal with that hair. Damn.

Vortex, I hope you let him know that the use of that word was completely uncalled for. I don't think I could have let that slide. (Sorry for the family drama.)

Happy birthday, Plei!

Baby DZ MoonBone (why does that sound like one of Frank Zappa's sprog?) is so very cute and adorable. WooT for the five hours of sleep, Jessica!

Suzi! juliana! meara! Todd!

Hmph. Who was the wiseass who decided to build a city on top of a SWAMP? Bad move, buddy. DC is nasty today.

ETA: I can't wait to see pics of Jilli's new cut. Why yes, that was an obvious hint. I think it's going to look spectacular on you, my dear.

Yay sorella! I'm so glad you've finally found a med that works.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm going to be in the city tonight for a meeting at 6. I don't expect it to go long....

Yeah - I'll probably be free by 7:30 or so.

MFNlaw! Yay!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Still no word yet on whether it's trouble NOW or trouble down the road.

So Trouble Never is not an option? I'd vote for Trouble Never.

In these particular circumstances, trouble only disappears upon death. Trouble NOW is a big problem, huge. Trouble later can be mitigated.

And in the intervening minutes, I just got the phone call: It's trouble later, which is actually the best news possible.

edited because it appears I've lost my ability to type and spell.

You ain't kiddin'. The hope is that time and a changing market will turn the trouble into a boon.

I'm sorry for the cryptic, everyone.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm glad you got the lesser of the two evils, Maria.

Librarian Warlord

I'm glad it was the best possible news, Maria.

And I'd like to find the guy who decided to build a city here cuz I have a bridge to sell him. Fool. Meanwhile, I will kiss the person who invented air conditioning. Bless the cool air coming out of the vents!
