Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Vortex--I'd say the "lay off the name calling thing."

Woe to the fucking wicked.

So, I have an update. Or 12.

I moved out of my apartment. I'm staying with T for a few days and helping her unpack (she just bought a house).

My mother decided that it was Not Okay for me to drive that far in that large a vehicle by myself.

So she's flying in to go with me. Joy.

I sent an email to the people running the summer program I was going to do (training to teach at the adolescent level). They sent me an email back that they really want me, and me in particular, to come. So, the head of the program, who is like The Guy for Montessori Adolescent stuff, is helping me find a job.

He called tonight to get permission to give my number to a school he's close with that just lost their Upper Elementary teacher (ages 9-12, the same I taught this year).

The school's in Northern Indiana, so I'll probably be stopping there on my way to Ohio. Ummm, possibly going to the homestead first, but, really, who can tell, as the program starts in less than a week.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That's great!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Business-ma to the FNlaws

=============

It really is, Hil. It's very unexpected and happening very quickly, so I'm, like, trying to not make any plans I don't absolutely have to, because who the fuck knows, you know?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Great news, Debet! My fingers are crossed.

Robin is wise, Vortex. Which isn't really news. But should be said often anyway.

Nice pics, JZ! Stunning!

Sox, thank you much for the offer, but I drove to my boss' house in Bethesda Sunday afternoon, and then had it fixed early this morning. Now I'm in Portland (thus the late night posting--our flight was quite delayed, but I am an addict, so am not yet asleep)

But wow, my flight was not nearly as bad as Nora's. And I'm sad to hear about Skybus. boo.

YAY, Debet! Fingers crossed.

And now I really need sleep.

It's not raining!

Glad you are here safe. Welcome!

eta: Whoa, did you bring summer with you? No rain, warm temps. Really warm.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Gorgeous hair, JZ!
