Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Most obscure crosspost ever!

I think we've had more obscure, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. So to speak.

Sometimes, Tommy, I wonder how you got a copy of the contents of my brain.

Yeah, when I was a kid, my mom was always telling me, "Put that strange brain down! You don't know where it's been!" But I never listened....

"Put that strange brain down! You don't know where it's been!"

Ah, that explains the strange scar and that missing time.

God bless people with unsecured wireless networks.

Unfortunately, this doesn't help on campus.

::dries tears::

A friend sent an email to a large group of us to tell us when her C-section was going to (she hopes) happen and then went into a long, scary story about an allergic reaction that her son had that resulted in epi-pen use which ended abruptly with a "Love, (name)!" I feel like I didn't have time to recover from the shock of the story before she hung-up on me or something.

I spent Saturday on a friend's boat on the Potomac. And when I say boat I mean something that's built more like a second home and apparently gets 0.6 mpg. It was awesome. And I got to drive. Vrrroooom!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Timelies, All.

Would say more, but my brain is running very slow today. I know there were good wishes, and people they were wished at . . . but no. Brain is choosing not to participate.

Is it weird that the Salome x-post sent my brain to a weird, Jael (I think - or is it Judith) tent-peg-thru-the-head place?

. . .

Yeah, I thought so.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

What fun, Sparky. Almost worth the no interweb.

I am back at work today. It's nice to be out of the house, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. I got a dr. appt. for tomorrow morning, though. Hopefully she can do something for the hack.

I haven't checked for a while: How are you doing AmyLiz? I hope you're feeling better!

Almost worth the no interweb.

Having no interweb while cruising the Potomac and drinking fruity alcoholic beverages is one thing. Having no interweb while trying to do librarianship is another.

I'm glad you're feeling better libkitty!

Dang, libkitty! That hack has still got you? Your innards must feel bruised all to heck. I really hope the Dr. has helpfulness for you. (And AmyLiz too, if she's still in the grip of The Grippe, heh.)

Hey, how goes the re-building of your church? (It was yours, right? I would swear it was you...)
