When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

Yay and oh my, for Emmett today. What a pendulum of emotion, I'm sure.

Kinda tipsy right now. Okay, really tipsy. So off to bed soon.

Did a 5 mile group training walk this morning where I met lovely people and heard speeches by folks living with blood cancer and lymphoma. Yep. It's a good thing I'm fund raising for.

Got an enormous blister on my little toe...basically the entire toe IS a blister. No walking for a couple of days. owowowow. My entire energy is focused on that damned pain. Threw my gait off and made everything else hurt too.

Many thanks for the recommendations for Jonathan Creek. I am now desperately in love with that character and whoa how impressed am I that I did html code while really tipsy?

Went to a seminar last night where the coach recommended developing a loving relationship with the 'image' of money in our lives. My money now looks like Alan Davies and fights crime by being very, very clever and cute.

Okay. Not tipsy. Way more than that. Must sleep.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ reports from suburbia that her new haircut is "a rocker girl pixie cut" entirely cut with a razor.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Have to share a LOL.

From this website about Aldi shopping:

As usual, I am broke as hell, so when it came time to go grocery shopping today, I chose Aldi's. Aldi's is like Trader Joe's under martial law. (No wonder TJ is owned by Aldi.) It's a de facto poverty-assistance program, or what daily life would be like if the government started operating all grocery stores. The German government.

A little factual error there (TJ is not owned by Aldi), but all in all, "Aldi's is like Trader Joe's under martial law." made me lol.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Daniel spent a while today at the Aldi's website. He read me stuff. Y'all just got the highlight.

vw, love the houses quilt - I've been enamored of various house themed quilt blocks - and trees too. I've got a design I've worked up on graph paper for a quilt with one house and a bunch of different trees. It is at this moment beyond my skills, but I have faith that finishing the other projects I have already started will bring me a few steps closer to it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well, JZ officially has the shortest haircut of her life.

Similar to Ple's first pixie cut, but rougher textures and slightly longer in back.

Supercute, really makes her eyes look spectacular.

Mostly lurking...

Happy Father's Day, Buffista Dads!

Happy Birthday, Cass!

Oh, that sounds very cool. You'll have to keep me in the loop!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, Cass!

And where are the pictures of JZ's hair?

David, you must feel like you died and went to heaven.

Pretty much. Though in heaven I don't expect I'll be competing for bed space with an infant.

And where are the pictures of JZ's hair?

We'll get some this morning after she's all cleaned up.

Happy Father's Day to the Buffista daddies!!!
